This large species of hoverfly was among the many insects on the brambles growing on the edge of nature reserve the Bruuk near Groesbeek on june 15th 2008.    Banded Demoiselle (Calopteryx splendens), photographed in forest 'Duivelsberg' on july 22nd 2008.
